I liked the cake because it’s not too sweet and quite crispy!
However, since the recipe contains a lot of butter, it turns out to be rather rich and fatty)
The sponge is just perfect! It is so fluffy, airy, gentle, soft, elastic, moist... I baked in twice already, once for the roll, next time for the sweet "sandwich" out of two sponge layers and a thin spread of rosehip jam in between. Simple and delicious!
